Even though the rains have yet to show up in Northern California, my bio class went out today and looked for frogs and salamanders. It was dry, but with what I think was a lot of luck, we found some great little salamanders, including what we think is a rare, previously presumed extinct black salamander! And a piece of a snake skeleton!
