Coyote Valley Birds

Our birding today was surprisingly exciting, considering we were only going out to see a roost spot for turkey vultures. We definitely saw our fair share of vultures, immediately upon entering the park, we found a merlin hanging out on a tree, followed by a ferruginous hawk, a red-shouldered hawk, a red-tailed hawk, some black-crowned night herons, buffleheads, common goldeneyes, cackling geese, and hooded merganser. A pretty exciting day!ImageImage
