Cedar Waxwings

The backyard’s been pretty exciting lately. A young cooper’s hawk, a red-shoulder couple and a red-tailed hawk couple all call the trees in our neighborhood their home, although none of them have made it on the blog yet. This morning, a flock of cedar waxwings decided to hang out in the birch in my neighbor’s yard and my mom snapped some shots. These guys are truly one of my favorite passerines.
