Birders…what a day of birding! And I was only out for a few hours! I finally found and photographed a Ferruginous Hawk! Other guys that were out there, some that appear in this post, include Golden eagles, Ferruginous hawk Red-tail, White-tailed hawk, Northern Harrier, Am. Kestrel, Red-shouldered hawk (heard the call), and many Western Bluebirds and a Loggerhead Shrike. Aside from the birdies that were out there, it was simply a beautiful day and a wonderful relief from the brisk weather we’ve been having (and when I say brisk, I of course mean the Californian version 🙂 ). Happy birding! And herping! And everything-elsing!

Oh, goody!!! I LOVE these posts.
Thanks! 🙂
The shots of the Ferruginous are amazing and of course, big love for the little bluebirds.
Thanks so much!
