Let me introduce you to Zephyr

For the past year, our house has been visited by a very special young Cooper’s hawk. He likes to hang out in our backyard during the winter months and practice his hunting on the birds in the area. My brother named him Zephyr, after the the Greek god of the west wind and with any luck, he’ll be hanging out in the backyard quite a bit this season so I can get even more and better shots of him.
